Lagom Home - Bamboo Forest

The guest house itself is a dream—it looks exactly like the photos, like something straight off a postcard. The accommodation is stylish, comfortable, and you can truly feel the care and effort put into the space. It’s a beautiful property with great amenities.

Unfortunately, several issues significantly impacted the stay. The mountain view wasn’t quite what I expected, but the real disappointment was the noise level—a baby and toddler crying non-stop next door, combined with a rooster crowing starting at 2 AM, made it impossible to fully relax. On top of that, there was an occasional smell of manure in the bathroom. The cooking also fell short of expectations; the black grilled chicken and fried spinach (listed as seasonal local vegetables) were particularly underwhelming.

The food was incredible, as were the drinks. We drank a lot of beautiful fresh ginger teas and enjoyed many meals cooked at Lagom. They were all wonderful.

Everything. The peace and quiet was amazing. Was very lucky to be the only guest when I stayed. The staff were super nice and they upgraded my room. Not that it was needed. Also the food was delicious and remember to ask for the pancakes for breakfast 🤝✔️

D’abord, la maison en elle même est absolument magnifique! Si vous appréciez les belles batisses, le bois ou encore les chalet vous adorerez cette maison! Cadre idyllique avec de magnifiques vues et parfait pour commencer des randonnées entre les rizières. Le staff est à l’écoute et disponible !
