Location is just great! Easy access to everything. Very charming area and still easy to reach by car. Plus a view to die for!

The apartment looks like the photos, but they seem to have been taken when the property was first listed. Since then, everything appears to have become quite worn, and a few small investments would make a huge difference to the overall experience. For example, the sofa has stains and has a strong smell of massage oil. Using washable sofa covers and cleaning them regularly would greatly improve both the appearance and the hygiene. The same smell was noticeable around the bed, which was unpleasant. There were also several smaller details that gave the impression that maintenance and housekeeping could be improved. The bathroom mirror is beginning to rust, and I was surprised to find some cutlery that wasn't completely clean. The kitchen is reasonably equipped with plates, pans, and utensils, but there were no basic cooking essentials such as oil, salt, or pepper. Even a small starter set would be appreciated by guests (not to mention to keep what other tourists are leaving behind). For a one-week stay, only two rolls of toilet paper were provided, and no one checked whether we needed fresh towels or any other supplies. We had to buy and left them there. It also appears that the person responsible for maintaining this and other apartments lives next door. Throughout the days, there was constant washing and drying of laundry, which was quite noticeable and disturbing because the building has very little to no sound insulation. You can easily hear what is happening in the small hallway dividing the apartments, so privacy is limited, not to mention disturbing. Finally, while this is outside the owner's control, it's worth mentioning that there is significant construction work taking place nearby during the week. If you are planning to work remotely or simply want a quiet stay, be prepared for construction noise on weekdays. Weekends, however, were much quieter.

The location was perfect. Close to everything. Great views of the bay/ocean.

We did initially have a little problem with the WiFi, but to there credit they made sure we got it working. The one thing I think they should let people know, is that there is a steep staircase to get up to the apartment. Well worth the climb. Not a problem for my wife and I, since we are from San Francisco. But some people could have issues, but the apartment is perfect.
