We had an unforgettable stay here with our children thanks to the excellent baby facilities: two very comfortable cots for our 4-month-old and 2-year-old, one of which even rocking, a bottle warmer, innovative high chairs and plastic crockery, a baby bath with legs, a toilet seat cover, toys and a baby bouncer. We found everything we could possibly need. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are very relaxing. The stacked washing machine and tumble dryer meant we could do the washing in the blink of an eye. We also had an iron and an ironing board, as well as washing powder and fabric softener for the washing machine. Every morning, thanks to the superbly equipped kitchen, we were able to prepare a wonderfully hearty breakfast in no time at all and enjoy it together at a comfortable table: three coffee machines for filter coffee and espresso, an electric kettle, a large electric citrus juicer, a blender, a toaster, a microwave and a dishwasher to clean everything up quickly. Wifi and air conditioning are excellent. The house is located in Pigneto, a safe and lively neighbourhood where you can experience the cheerful Roman way of life, a 10-minute walk from Pigneto metro station, which took us to the Colosseum and the whole of Rome’s historic centre in just 4 stops (8 minutes). It was a pleasure to come home in the evening. After a long shower in the two fully equipped bathrooms, we could have dinner and take a safe stroll with our children among the many restaurants in Pigneto’s pedestrianised area, right next to the metro station. We really enjoyed the neighbourhood’s two traditional open-air markets, the nearest of which was just a stone’s throw from the flat. Open every morning, they offered homemade local specialities such as ricotta ravioli, buffalo mozzarella, porchetta and supplì… an unforgettable culinary experience at unbeatable prices.

Le logement idéal pour deux couples souhaitant découvrir la vie romane hors du tourisme de masse, en toute intimité, avec l'accueil et le service d'un hôtel 5 étoiles, la chaleur et le confort d'un véritable chez-soi, et un excellent rapport qualité-prix. L'appartement tout entier avait manifestement été rénové récemment dans le cadre d'un projet de luxe, complet et coordonné. Il est nettoyé et entretenu avec le plus grand soin, car tout était neuf et d'une propreté impeccable, tout fonctionnait à la perfection. Chaque détail est pensé pour que l'on se sente choyé et en sécurité dans chaque pièce. Non seulement un mobilier, des accessoires et du linge de maison à la fois fonctionnels et élégants qui allient avec goût le style moderne et le style ancien, des appareils électroménagers et des utensiles modernes adaptés à tous les besoins, mais aussi les couleurs et l'éclairage sont parfaitement harmonisés dans chaque recoin de la maison. Le Wi-Fi, qui fonctionnait via la fibre optique, était très rapide et stable. Même si c'était l'hiver, la maison était très chauffée ; le radiateur de chaque pièce pouvait être réglé individuellement. Dans les salles de bains, les radiateurs étaient équipés de barres très pratiques pour réchauffer les serviettes. L'hote Ornella nous avait déjà fourni avant notre arrivée des guides gratuits rédigés par ses soins en français et regorgeant de conseils pour ne rien manquer du meilleur de Rome tout en optimisant nos dépenses et notre temps à Rome. Elle nous a accueillis chaleureusement en nous offrant plusieurs boissons de bienvenue gratuites. Le lendemain, elle nous a demandé si nous nous étions bien installés et si nous avions besoin d'autre chose. L'hote avait vraiment pensé à tous les besoins possibles.

We ran a bit late, which was expected and we communicated in advance, but glad all the same that the host took this into account so that we could still collect the keys after a loooong car trip. Our host was very easy to contact and always helpful, letting us know where we could eat, ATMs etc. Cleaning service was very welcome and flexible. Beautiful apartment on a ground floor level (easy to reach), beautifully decorated and all commodities available! (fridge/freezer, towels, soap, shampoo, ... you won't be left wanting). Thank you so much for the complementary prosecco and ice cream, they were much appreciated during that scalding Roman heatwave! The apartment is also minutes away from central Rome with public transport; metro is in walking distance. We were warned that parking might be difficult but we never really had issues finding parking spots at most around the corner, usually even just in front of the building itself. (the apartment also has airconditioning in every room, very important! So, so very important!)

The apartment can be used by a family of 5, but is rather small. It was not a real big problem but thought it would be worth a mention for people looking for sizeable accommodation.

Wir sind eine Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern und lieben die Städte in gemächlichem Tempo zu erkundigen, um auch unseren Knirpsen andere Lebensweisen näherzubringen. Dieser Aufenthalt war ein Geschenk meiner italienischen Tante, und sie hätte keine bessere Wahl treffen können. Die Wohnung ist brandneu und sehr komfortabel mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Badezimmern. Sie ist sehr sauber sowie mit allem ausgestattet, was eine Familie mit Kindern braucht. Sowohl mein 6 Monate alter Sohn als auch mein 2-jähriger Sohn hatten für jeden Moment des Tages die altersgerechte Ausstattung: zwei Babybetten, zwei Hochstühle, eine hohe und praktische Babybadewanne, die wir in der großen Dusche benutzt haben, einen Toilettensitz für Kinder, eine Babywippe, einen Milchwärmer, zwei Mixer, Plastikgeschirr, kleines Spielzeug, ein Teppich zum Spielen auf dem Boden, und Brettspiele für die ganze Familie. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe und italienischem Geschmack eingerichtet und verbindet die Funktionalität des modernen Stils mit wunderschönen Antiquitäten. Ich bin im Antiquitätenhandel tätig und besonders gut haben mir der Davenport-Schreibtisch aus alten Schiffen und die antike Vitrine gefallen, die beide perfekt restauriert wurden. Das Haus war gründlich gereinigt und aufgeräumt und mit so einzigartigen Details ausgestattet, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an herzlich willkommen gefühlt haben: Hausschuhe, Frotteehandschuhe für die Dusche; neben Duschgel, Shampoo und Spülung fanden wir Make-up-Entferner, eine entspannende Gesichtsmaske, Körper- und Fußcremes, Damen- und Herrendüfte, einen Haarglätter sowie zwei Haartrockner. Ersatzhandtücher und -decken in den Schränken, kleine Handtücher für Kinder über den Kinderbetten, Bonbons, Handdesinfektionsgel im Eingangsbereich. In der Küche lagen Geschirrtücher, eine Schürze, Topflappen, Untersetzer und Glasuntersetzer herum, Lebensmittelbeutel, Alufolie, Backpapier, neue Schwämme, Ersatzmüllbeutel.
