Studio im Herzen von Bamberg

This is a long-overdue review for a place away from home that genuinely felt like home for almost two weeks. It wasn’t my first time visiting Bamberg, but it was my first time staying alone in the area, so I was a little apprehensive. However, the apartment — & its wonderful owner, Franz — exceeded my expectations. The apartment is beautiful, bright (or dark if you want to sleep in :)) , exceptionally clean, & very thoughtfully equipped. The bed deserves a genuine **10/10**! There’s a proper workspace, reliable Wi-Fi, plenty of storage, conveniently placed power outlets, & lots of those small details that make a longer stay comfortable. I particularly appreciated the lack of carpeting, which was a small but very welcome plus when staying in rentals. The kitchen is particularly well equipped, with a good-sized fridge, cookware, utensils, a coffee machine, & basic cooking & cleaning supplies. The bathroom is bright & practical, with great lighting. I also appreciated having a proper full length mirror, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, vacuum, & fan available. The location worked very well for me — around a **10–15 minute walk from the ZOB & city centre**, with a bus stop right outside the building. It was also close enough for me to walk to friends, which was one of the reasons for booking the place. And then there’s Franz. Thank you for such wonderful & genuinely human customer service. He was always responsive, helpful & thoughtful, even while on holiday. Communication before, during, & after my stay was excellent, & I really appreciated how easy it was to reach him whenever I had a question. After almost two weeks, I left feeling like I hadn’t simply stayed in an apartment in Bamberg, but somewhere that had genuinely been prepared to make a guest feel comfortable & at home.

There were only two very minor things to note: the shower drain was a little slow at times & there could occasionally be some noise outside the window from people returning home late- but it was mostly on holiday & not on regular days. Neither affected my experience!

Zentrale Lage, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Geräumiges Zimmer

Betten zu schmal für 2 Personen, sehr weich. Fenster undicht, trotz geschlossener Fenster konnte man alles auf der Straße hören. Fußkalt.
