Estay - Viola's House

The location was absolutely excellent — 10 out of 10! Just a short walk from the marina and the historic centre of Cagliari, surrounded by lovely little cafés, restaurants and bars. Everything we needed was within easy reach. The bed linen and towels were clean, which we appreciated.

Unfortunately, apart from the excellent location, the accommodation was rather disappointing. The apartment is on the second floor, accessible via a very steep, unpleasant staircase with a terrible smell. The surrounding area also involves walking uphill and downhill, which can be challenging. More importantly, the cleanliness was well below acceptable standards. Although the bed linen and towels were clean, there was dust everywhere, including on the floors and furniture. The bathroom sink did not drain properly, and the washing machine was not correctly levelled, making it difficult to use. Considering these maintenance issues, the €150 security deposit felt rather unreasonable, particularly given the condition of the property itself. Another disappointment was the complete lack of communication and hospitality. During our four-night stay, nobody contacted us to check whether everything was satisfactory or whether we needed anything. Overall, I found the management rather impersonal and unprofessional. The property has an excellent location and great potential, but unfortunately, the standards of cleanliness, maintenance and guest care do not justify the price. Definitely not good value for money.

Ottima posizione, molto pulito. Cucina attrezzata, ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare cagliari, bar negozi ristoranti a pochi metri , stazione fs raggiungibile in 6-7 minuti

Divano letto un po scomodo

Property was very clean, well maintained and in brilliant location. Easy to park in the marina, could walk almost everywhere. Air conditioning very efficient, very happy with the stay.

Bed, unfortunately I was too large for the bed, I constantly kept moving it and falling off. My legs were hanging off and my frame was too large. The same with the shower. I think anyone under 6”2 - 260lbs would be fine, any larger than that, it will be uncomfortable for you.
