The view from the beach was lovely. The facility was clean, the staff were friendly, and they offered plentiful options for breakfast. The Homestay seems to be on the quieter side of town with walkable restaurants and coffee shops.
Not criticisms but observations: There are a lot of stairs on the property and for American tastes the bed is a bit firm.

I was a bit disappointed, after such great reviews I expected a bit more. The hotel's facilities were past their prime, a lot of things were rusty and worn out.
The biggest disappointment was the beach by the hotel (I understand that it's not really the hotel's fault) – the beach was absolutely dirty, polluted with plastics – I definitely wouldn't recommend choosing this accommodation because of the beach.

"We loved Irini Homestay, it’s a beautiful place right on the sea front. It feels like it should be in Greece somewhere! There are so many beautiful secret viewpoints to sit in, the pool table is great..."
