Kayaks are on site for use and of course we welcome all of your lake accessories and even have a dock for your fishing boat. Sanford is a no-wake lake, so it is perfect for canoeing, kayaking or swimming! Explore the many ducks and water birds on the water as well!
Enjoy the convenience of amenities like WiFi, a washing machine, and AC. Plus, the bathroom comes equipped with a hair dryer.

Newly renovated and sits on a nice private lake. The location is really central to both Traverse City and the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Neighbors are very friendly and even gave my young daughter a sticker book.

I was soo lucky and thankful I came across this incredible property. My whole family had the BEST time here and would have loved to have stayed longer. No one wanted to leave on check out morning. My kids said they wanted to like there forever. The lake is beautiful, clean and so clear. The owners left two kayaks out for us to use and boy did they get used. My 8,6 & 4 year old were all out on the lake with my husband and parents as soon as they opened their eyes in the morning. They would go out to fish and swim! It was soo relaxing! The house is in a quiet space, away from any main roads and any hustle and bustle, it’s perfect if you have kids that want to ride bikes or run around etc. The Neigbors were all nice and welcoming too. It’s a short distance to traverse and the sleeping bear dunes and so many more fun places. The house itself was super clean and well equipped with everything you need! We all had a super comfortable stay! There was plenty of room for my family of 7. The communication with the home owners was impeccable from the very first email to ask if it was available. Cyndi even went out of her way to phone me on my cell to talk about the house and Neigbors etc! And even during our stay she would answer any question we had regarding places to go and things to see etc. Just up the road, there was a great pizza place, but in the little village, there was the perfect set up for the whole family! Live music, food and a park!! Can’t wait to return!!!

We booked this cottage for our yearly 4 generation fishing trip. House is set up great with multiple hangout areas. Outdoor decks and fire pit area was our favorite place to hangout. We didn’t fish this lake but we fished several nearby lakes that never disappoint! Plenty of space to park with a boat and trailer. Would highly recommend this place and we will be back next year!
