Nestled in the trees in the heart of Schuss Village, this family friendly retreat offers 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and sleeps 12. Recently refreshed, our home has modern amenities while keeping its charm. Enjoy easy access to championship golf, downhill & cross-country skiing, beautiful Torch Lake, and hiking/biking trails. Just a short drive away, find the renowned Short’s Brewing Co. for a taste of local flavor.

Main Floor:
The entry-way has a large coat closet and shoe area. We ask that you please remove shoes while you’re in the house. The dedicated workspace is off to the left where you’ll find a large desk with lots of natural light. To the right, you'll find the fully stocked kitchen that has everything you need to prepare meals and is open to the dining area, with two extra seats at the counter.

The open-concept living area has a large comfy sectional couch where you can relax by the wood stove and cozy up for a movie night on the 55” TV, or enjoy a family game night with one of the board games stocked in the TV cabinet.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the main living space, including a bedroom, is located on the second floor and requires one set of exterior or interior stairs.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms:
Each bedroom is furnished with new beds, mattresses & dressers, and includes a remote controlled ceiling fan for comfort. You’ll find cozy bedding with extra pillows & blankets in each room and the upstairs “tree” room with three twin beds (one trundle) is perfect for kids!

The basement includes a queen size pullout couch with a smart TV, making it a great place to hang out and sleep.

Full baths are located on the main floor & upstairs, and a half bath is available in the basement living area.

Outdoor Space:
Our home is nestled in a spacious lot of beautiful trees and sits on a hill, so we get lots of fresh air when it’s warm enough for open windows. Enjoy stargazing and s’mores in the adirondacks surrounding the firepit, or enjoy a meal at the patio table on the deck.

Please note: the record snow this winter caused ice damage to one side of our deck. We have blocked and secured this area to ensure safety until it’s repaired this summer. While there is a temporary fence installed to block it, we strongly suggest monitoring children outside to ensure they can’t access it. We are working to get this repaired as soon as possible.
