We stayed at Villa Désirée in the Dominican Republic for Afro Nation and to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and it was honestly perfect. The villa itself is gorgeous—spacious, stylish, and in an absolutely incredible location. There were five of us on the trip, and we also had friends stop by during the day for a little pre-gathering. The hosts were super accommodating throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free.We absolutely loved the pool, the big open living room, the jacuzzi, and the outdoor shower—pure vacation vibes from start to finish. The communication from the staff was always clear, quick, and really helpful. Any time we needed something or had a concern, they were right there.One thing to note: the villa is located in a gated community with tight but polite security. It feels extremely safe, which we really appreciated, but it does mean guests can’t just walk in on a whim. Totally fine—just something to keep in mind if you’re planning to have people over.A huge shoutout to Nomar and Dina for their amazing hospitality. They genuinely made our stay special.Thank you again for such a wonderful experience—we can’t wait to come back!
