If you wish to spend your stay in one of the most beautiful farms in the 1000 ponds region, our Douglasie apartment awaits you. The Douglasie apartment is a recent construction. It is carefully furnished with untreated Douglas fir and spruce wood. It has a warm, chalet-style character. The apartment is located on the other side of the farmhouse, meaning you have your own private space. The apartment offers space for 4 people. It consists of 2 single beds (90x200 cm), an alcove (bed built into the eaves) (160x200 cm), a small kitchen with a refrigerator, sink, ceramic hob, microwave, etc., as well as a beautiful, modern bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower, sink, toilet, and window. The apartment features a large wardrobe, an entrance hall with a mirror, and a shoe rack. The comfortable living area includes two armchairs and a coffee table. Plenty of natural light floods the cozy apartment, coming in through a large skylight, another large window, and the front door window. The apartment also boasts a spacious balcony of approximately 30 square meters, furnished with a garden table for four and a parasol. Located on the first floor, it has its own private entrance. It is heated by central heating and is available for booking year-round. A free Wi-Fi network (WLAN) is available to all guests. The large, secluded property in the heart of the Thousand Lakes region boasts a natural lake where you can swim and go boating. Ample green space around the house, furnished with sun loungers, garden tables, and benches, invites you to relax in peace and quiet. Outside, there is also a fireplace for barbecuing or simply for comfortably sitting by the fire. From the apartment, you have a direct view of our animals' pastures (horses, goats). From the beginning of December, our farm is decorated for Christmas with many lights and decorations. Location and setting of the accommodation: The apartment is located in the heart of nature, in a country house, in a secluded spot with 12 hectares of land in the heart of the Thousand Ponds region. Beautiful hiking and cycling trails through unspoiled nature with numerous lakes border the property directly. You are more likely to encounter animals than people while hiking. Let yourself be charmed by this unspoiled haven. The nearest hamlet (La Mer) is 1.5 km away and the nearest village (Faucogney) is 4 km away. In Faucogney, you will find: a tourist office, a pharmacy, a doctor, a bakery, a butcher, a German beer shop, a small shop, a post office, an ATM, a restaurant, a garage, a church, etc. In summer, there is a market with local produce every Saturday from 4 pm to 8 pm in the pretty historic town of Faucogney. In Mélisey (10 km), there is a large Belgian supermarket (COLRUYT) with a good selection of vegetables and fresh meat. Many other shops, such as a bakery, pharmacy, butcher, florist, and café, can be found in the small town of Mélisey, located on the Ognon River. There are also several restaurants in Mélisey. Not far from Mélisey, there is a lovely swimming pool with a water slide for children. You can also enjoy the nearby river. A market is held in Mélisey on Wednesday mornings. In about 30 minutes by car, you can reach the charming town of Luxeuil-les-Bains, home to a thermal bath and various restaurants offering dinner. In summer, there is a night market with regional products, music, etc. There are various excursion options for young and old alike. Faucogney-et-la-Mer is located at the foot of the Southern Vosges Mountains in the Thousand Lakes region. It belongs to the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region and is located in Haute-Saône. Bicycles (including electric bikes) can be rented at the Faucogney Tourist Office as well as in Mélisey.
