About this cottage rental
Rustic lakefront 1 bedroom cottage on Keeler Bay, Lake Champlain. Ideal for a couple or small family. Enjoy a Vermont getaway filled with nights by the fire and stunning sunrises. This relaxing location is close proximity to great local restaurants and endless shops in Burlington, VT (25 minute drive).
Spacious beach (although not ideal for swimming) we welcome guests to bring kayaks and canoes, plus a dock slip for all of your nautical activities!

The space
The property is right off Route 2 and lakefront. Although there are other cottages on the property, this space is strictly yours. This is a simple and rustic cottage with a phenomenal view. Nothing fancy but recent upgrades have made this cottage as comfortable as ever.
We provide all the basics for cooking, grilling, and summer living. Bedroom is air-conditioned, with a queen bed and a comfortable mattress.
Guest access
From our cottage it's a 5-7 minute walk to the general store as well as the new Rest Stop with a bar and live music (some nights). There are restaurants, markets, bank, and post office within a five minute drive. We have a large lawn that is perfect for lawn fun like badminton, croquet, or frisbee. Parking is plentiful and easy.
Other things to note
The beach is not ideal for swimming, (unless you don’t mind sludge and seaweed) but is great for fishing, relaxing, and water activities. There is great sandy swimming beach just 10 minutes away, Sandbar State park or Whites Beach.
Boats are welcome and each cabin is allowed one slip, exceptions possible. Our dock is to be put out around June 1. This is a great spot for fishing either off our dock or from the beach. If the lake level is too low (end of summer) Apple Island Marina and Launch is a quick 5 minute drive.
Unfortunately, bugs are a way of life here on the lake but we respond appropriately with pest control sweeps and diligent cleaning. We recommend that our guests turn off outdoor lighting and close screens/ doors when possible. This will minimize bug attraction!

It is a shared property with two other cabins on site, spaced well apart, but please be mindful of noise. Quiet hours 10pm-8am.
