The Rosengarten Thatched House is a historic, thatched half-timbered house dating from 1880. It has been lovingly restored and romantically furnished in a unique style with many small antiques.
It is surrounded by a vast garden of approximately 7,000 square meters with old fruit trees and many different varieties of roses, offering plenty of peaceful spots to relax. From the garden, you have a sweeping view across the fields to the island of Hiddensee and can see the ferry and sailboats on the Bodden.
“Strauchrose” is a cozy one-room apartment under the roof for two people. The sleeper sofa in the living area can accommodate 2 additional guests.
The apartment features a cozy wood-burning stove. Firewood can be purchased separately.
There are a total of 6 vacation apartments throughout the thatched-roof house. There is also a 50-square-meter yurt in the garden, which can be used for family vacations, weddings, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, or workshops.
During peak season, the apartment is rented only on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday.
