About this apartment rental
This quiet and bright vacation rental in Grandpa’s self-built house is available to you as vacation guests for the first time this year. Although the renovation work is complete for now, there are still a few small details here and there that will be added or replaced over time.
On the upper floor of the house, you’ll find a large, light-filled living room with an open kitchen and a very spacious balcony—perfect for more than just enjoying a cup of coffee. The bedroom faces the back of the house toward the garden and offers a stunning view across a protected landscape area all the way to the Schlei.
The bedroom features a 1.80-meter-wide double bed, a 90-centimeter single bed, and, if needed, a travel crib (without a mattress!). The living room features a sofa bed. The 1.40 m wide sleeping surface rests on a fold-out slatted frame and an extra mattress.
Towels and bed linens can be booked for an additional fee.
The vacation rental is child-safe in that a gate can be installed on the stairs and the electrical outlets are equipped with child safety covers. A Tripp Trapp high chair is also available for you if needed, along with a changing pad and some toys.
Pets are not allowed.
You’ll have the entire upper floor of the house to yourselves. Only the front entrance is shared between you and the tenants on the first floor. The key safe is located by the front door.

There’s usually someone on site who can come to your aid in an emergency.
The house is located at the end of a small cul-de-sac and in the immediate vicinity (a 7-minute walk through beautiful natural surroundings) of the so-called “Große Breite” section of the Schlei, where water sports are also permitted.
The town has everything you need for everyday life on vacation: a very well-stocked supermarket, a pharmacy, doctors, an excellent bakery, a gas station, hair salons, a kebab and pizza delivery service, a flower shop, and a café. Everything is within a few minutes’ easy walk.
