Pleasant and convenient for the city

Our accommodation had a nice bathroom and good lighting. There were two supermarkets within walking distance. We met our host when I locked myself out shortly after we arrived and he was very helpful and spoke good English. Other reviews have mentioned street noise from cars driving over manhole covers but we found it not as bad as we expected, even though we had a room on the street. Partly this was because the weather was wet for much of the time so we had the windows closed. There looked to be a very nice patio outside the kitchen but it was too wet to use it.

People from two other units shared the kitchen with us and they were noisy at times. On our last evening they took over the kitchen but fortunately we only wanted to use the microwave. The television was not very good.

Sleepless in Schleswig

I would would have given 9 points without hesitation, if it hadn't been for the noise. The room was largish, bathroom a good size, bed comfy and the kitchen looked new. Everything was spotless. Close to the train station and a bus stop. A good walk from the old town of Schleswig. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

The room was out towards a busy street (one car every few seconds) and right in front of the window were two manhole covers at least one of which was broken making a loud thump every time a car ran across it. The owner assured me it was only Friday afternoon traffic and that the town council had already been informed but was refusing repairs arguing that it was only 'normal noise'. Well, it was loud enough to hear clearly through closed windows and good earplugs. It also went on till late at night (the road leads up to the train station and out of town) and woke me up several times every night. I'm not sure who I'm rating here, since the owners can't really be faulted for something that is clearly out of their control, but somehow I feel that the most basic thing you pay for when you rent a room, is a reasonably good night's sleep and that just didn't happen. I also found a review back from October 2020 mentioning that same manhole cover, so the problem has been around for a while. The wi-fi reception in my room was bit weak.

Large well equipped studio flat. Close to rail station. Close to shops & restaurants. Ideal if you do not have a car.

Bathroom outside of door but on a private landing. Creaking floor boards on landing. 3rd floor, so lots of stairs. Would not suit anyone with mobility problems.

Gute Lage für Ausflüge am Bahnhof

- Die Nähe zum Bahnhof und Rewe - unkomplizierter Check-In - großzügige Küche im Studio - Preis - liebevolle Details wie dass z.B. Gewürze, Öl, Tee, Küchentücher, Duschgel da waren

- der Boden knarrt etwas (hatte ich schon vorher in den Rezessionen gelesen- wusste das also) - die Dusche hat starke Temperaturschwankungen während dem Duschen (für den Preis im Verhältnis zu den Alternativen war es für mich ok)

Toller Aufenthalt, sehr sauber, gerne wieder

Einfache Buchung, tolles Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung. Eine wunderbare Küche, die genutzt werden konnte und der Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Es war alles perfekt!

Eigentlich nicht viel. Wir haben bereits bei der Buchung gesehen, dass das Haus direkt an einer Straße liegt und ich kenne dies auch. Da wir es vorher wussten keine Überraschung.

Schönes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und Gemeinschaftsküche. Kleiner Garten mit Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Es gibt 3 Wohnungen, 2 gehen zur stark befahrenen Straße raus. Wir hatten eine mit Straßenlärm. Mit offenem Fenster schlafen ist nicht möglich.

Schöne Unterkunft

Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Vermieter super nett. In der Küche konnte man gut kochen, da sie gut ausgestattet war und schon ein paar grundlegende Sachen wie Gewürze und Kaffee beinhaltete. Gut wenn man mit Zug anreist und nicht alle Kleinigkeiten für die Küche mitschleppen kann. Lage sehr gut für Besuche in Haithabu oder am Schloss. Gerne wieder!

Leider keine Fliegengitter an den Fenstern, dadurch sehr viel Ungeziefer in den Räumen. Tür nach außen sehr dünn. Dadurch hat man jedes Geräusch aus der Gemeinschaftsküche direkt vor dem Zimmer gehört.

guter Ausgangspunkt um Schleswig und Umgebung zu erkunden,

großzügiges helles Schlafzimmer, eigenes frisch renoviertes Duschbad, tolle, sehr gut eingerichtete Wohnküche (Gemeinschaftsraum) lädt zur Benutzung ein mit Terrasse. Für Autos gibt es einen direkten Platz am Haus. Die Bahnstation ist nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Vermieterin kam persönlich vorbei und half uns mit dem Schlüssel - sehr nett, vielen Dank.

Da unsere Fenster zur Straße gingen, hörte man dann eben doch bei geöffnetem Fenster (Lüftung) die vorbeifahrenden Autos und Busse. Fenster schließen hilft.

Ein schönes Wikinger - Wochenende

Von dieser Unterkunft aus hatten wir zu unseren Erlebnissen kurze Wege. Die Unterkunft mit Selbstverpflegung war dafür perfekt.

Der Parkplatz für Gäste der drei Übernachtungseinheiten ist ja o.k. Aber wenn da fünf Autos stehen, wird es eng. Das haben wir am ersten Abend erfahren müssen.

witam. o godzinie 21 zadzwoniła do mnie właścicielka pensjonatu bym bez zwłocznie opuścił lokal bo w samochodzie na parkingu grało za głośno radio. Nie zostało mi nic innego jak zadzwonić po policję. Policja przyjechała i nic nie mogła poradzić w tej kwestii, bo jak właścicielka powiedziała że lokal jest jej i może robić co jej się podoba. OK. tyle tylko że noc musiałem spędzić w aucie. bardzo nie mili ludzie. NIE POLECAM

Untragbar. Dadurch mussten wir kurzfristig eine andere Unterkunft suchen und doppelt bezahlen.

Sauberes Zimmer und sauberes Bad, gute Matratzen, gute Ablagemöglichkeiten, professioneller Haartrockner.

Lautes Zimmer: 1. Straßenlärm, besonders bedingt durch beim Überfahren durch Fahrzeuge laut polternde Kanaldeckel. 2. Mangelhafte Trittschallisolierung und mangelhafter Lärmschutz zur Gemeinschaftsküche hin. Dadurch Lärmbelästigung durch Gäste in der erste Etage und in der Küche. Der Gastgeber war weder in der Lage, die Mängel durch Anbieten eines anderen Zimmers zu beheben, noch bereit, die Mängel durch eine Reduktion des Mietpreises zumindest zum Teil auszugleichen.
