    The hotel is well located, which is definitely its main advantage and makes it convenient for visiting Ha Long. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was below acceptable standards. There was a noticeable amount of dust, and I also found a few cockroaches in the room, which was quite unpleasant and affected my overall comfort. The room did not seem to be thoroughly cleaned or well maintained. With better housekeeping and more attention to hygiene, this hotel could be a much better option. At the moment, I would only recommend it if location is your top priority and you are not very sensitive to cleanliness issues.

    I should’ve looked at where the cruise was but the facilities are clean and new lots of hot water. AC works TV works. Staff is friendly. I loved having a bathtub to soak in not much around the property but if you are looking for a budget stay that is pretty nice. This will do but like every place I’ve been in Vietnam hard hard mattresses

    I'm a solo backpacker, this hotel comes with a bathtub with reasonable price and only 3-5min walk to the beach, if you're visiting in summer, no doubt this is a good location to stay. Unfortunately I came in ending winter so it's chilly during daytime and cold in the night. No beach side activity, of course nobody swimming in the sea. The entire Sun Plaza is dead, sadly more than 10 roll of beautiful shoplots are 99% unoccupied. And my hotel room, the bed is as hard as the ground that I also have had in Laos 20 years back. However, the front desk young lady was helpful. And I will not be returning to Ha Long if I have other places to go.
