The staff at AZ Sunrise Hotel were absolutely amazing and really made our stay special. In particular, Nueng and Palm were outstanding. Their hospitality and customer service were exceptional, and they went out of their way to make us and our whole family feel welcome and looked after. Nueng especially deserves a mention. He genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, regularly chatting with us around the pool bar and always making us feel welcome. He is such a lovely guy and absolutely brilliant in a customer-facing role. Palm was also fantastic, and we really appreciated everything they both did for us. The ladies on reception were also excellent — always friendly, helpful and welcoming. A special mention also has to go to Ilya, the hotel manager, who was excellent in dealing with the concerns we had regarding the size of our standard room and the construction noise. He listened to our grievances and genuinely tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible, which we really appreciated. The biggest downside to our stay was unfortunately the construction noise. We actually felt sorry for the staff because they work incredibly hard to provide excellent service, yet they are having to deal with understandably unhappy guests because of something largely outside of their control. It is a shame because the quality of the staff deserves better. Despite the issues with the construction, the hospitality we received was excellent. Nueng and Palm in particular made a huge difference to our holiday, and we cannot rate their customer service highly enough. Thank you to Nueng, Palm, Ilya and the rest of the team for looking after us so well.
