About this lodge
Set within its own grounds, Loxley's Lodge offers privately owned, self contained, pet friendly accommodation for up to 6 guests. It affords easy access to a variety of tourist attractions & activities (see below) and a large network of cycle tracks and woodland walks accessible from the door. With its own private hot tub to relax in, it also offers a secluded and peaceful base from which to enjoy the forest.
The internal log beams create a unique and tranquil atmosphere whilst the underfloor heating and log burner will ensure your stay is cosy and warm during those cold winter nights. A generous welcome basket is provided, including provision for pets, and a complimentary bag of logs. Further bags are available, charged at £4 per bag (cost price). The lodge has 3 bedrooms with an en-suite to the master. There are SMART TV’s in the living area and all 3 bedrooms, all but one bedroom having Freesat. All have DVD players (Blu-ray player in the living area). Two of the bedrooms can be arranged as either twins or doubles (Superking size) whilst the master bedroom features a bespoke handcrafted Kingsize log bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen which incorporates a built in oven and hob, an eye-level microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher. The main bathroom has a bath with shower above and there is an additional walk-in shower in the en-suite. All of the accommodation is on the ground floor except one bedroom.
A travel cot & high chair are available on request at no extra charge.
Outside there is ample private parking for 3 cars, a 6 person hot-tub and a covered dining area. There is also an undercover area for bikes which can be secured to fixed bike racks.
The lodge can also be booked without use of the hot tub for a reduced price. Please send an enquiry to obtain a quote.
There is a minimum stay of 3 nights however, 2 night stays may sometimes be possible.
