The house is right in town, which makes it very convenient for walking everywhere, and the host was absolutely wonderful — super responsive, really lovely, and honestly the nicest host we met during our trip. Inside, the house is beautiful, very clean, and probably the nicest place we stayed during our whole trip in Greece. It’s been really well renovated, very comfortable, and with three bathrooms it worked perfectly for our group so everyone could have their own room and bathroom. The view from the balcony is also nice, with a lovely perspective over the town.

Parking is much more difficult than other reviews suggest. If you arrive after 7 pm after the beach, the chances of finding a nearby spot are basically zero since the town fills up with visitors for dinner and drinks. We usually had to park in the public lot up the hill, which isn’t terrible but worth knowing ahead of time. The kitchen, while looking nice, wasn’t very practical for cooking and was missing some basics (like tea — not everyone drinks coffee). One of the shower taps broke on the same day, which wasn’t a huge problem since there were still two more bathrooms, but it was still inconvenient. Also the water pressure was quite weak. The view, while nice, doesn’t fully match the pictures online — part of it looks out onto industrial ships, which takes away some of the “storybook” charm. Also, below the stairs there’s a poorly maintained property that looks run-down and not very clean, which did affect the overall feel when coming home each day. The beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable — the pillows felt hard and cheap, and the bedsheets were stiff with a polyester/cotton blend. It’s a shame, because sleeping well is probably the most important part of any stay, and the host would really benefit from investing in better bedding. We all agreed on this and ended up sleeping without pillows.Finally, it would be nice if the host offered at least a light breakfast (bread, jams, juice), since there's only one cafe that opens at 9 and another one at 10 and service was very slow — we often didn’t finish until 11/11:30, which felt quite late. Hence value for money could be improved.

The house was very clean and everything was perfect. The host were very nice and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and stay here.
