Casa Disìu

So lovely and relaxing.

Nothing

Right in the heart of Palermo, absolute 5 star luxury, Bars and food all around, a 2 minute walk to all historic places. Our host was amazing. A bonus cocktail bar right outside the front door, but minimal noise in the apartment.

Nothing.

Great location in Palermo, right on the main tourist street. Kitchen had good cooking equipment and the basics for cooking (like olive oil). It was nice on a 2month holiday to be able to home cook for a couple of nights. Communication from the host pre arrival was great and we were met at the property and given a detailed walk through of the property and security (how to get into the apartment complex). A big reason for booking this apartment was to do some loads of washing and there was a washing machine.

The washing machine was shared with the other apartments owned by the host and there were restrictions on when it could be used so as not to disturb other guests. We worked around it. It was a washer/dryer but I couldn’t figure out how to use the dryer as instructions were in Italian. But there were plenty of airers and space to hang wet clothes. This was not a big deal, but just to let others know.
