The apartment setting and orientation is truly exquisite - the sunsets and the view of the bay were mesmarizing, and relaxing. The apartment and terrace also provide a lot of privacy, though not total - there's a neighboring terrace and other neighboring guests can pass by, but very infrequently and in overall we felt very private there. It's also a very quiet neighborhood, wonderuflly detached from any nightlife disturbances. The location is superb for exploring the Emerald Coast, with all the highlights being a short drive away. A beautiful beach is nearby (not the one in Baja Sardinia, but Spiaggia Porto Sole), though on a hot day, not really within reach by foot, but a 3-minute drive downhill and leaving the car at a shopping mall car park for free did the trick (not really officially allowed, but the car park is overdimensionned and so I think it never bothered anyone). Coffee macihne (Nespresso capsule one) was brand new and the "welcome package" provided 4 capsules, very welcomed by us! :)

We're really keen on cleanliness and I must say our initial impression wasn't too great. The floor seemed to be just dry-swipped, not wiped - walking bearfoot left us with dirty feet - and some closet cupboards were quite dusty, not a place you'd put your clothes in out of the luggage. To be fair, after announcing this to the property managers, they offered to send the cleaning agency there again the next day, but by that time we've already cleaned up the place ourselves. The place also seems to be sometimes occupied by the "real owners", so some cupboards are occupied and "off-limits" by their private property, sometimes in quite a messy state. There's not much cutlery and dishes - just enough for 1 and a half meals for 4 people - so the dishwasher needs to run 2 to 3 times a day if you're 4 people and also cooking lunch or dinner, which makes the "welcome package" with 1 dishwasher tablet seem, given the overall price, a bit of a joke. But once we got over the intial not-so-great impression, the rest of our 10-day-stay felt like we're in paradise! If the apartment would get a just a bit more care onbeforehand, it can easily be a 10-rating.
