Koukida House

Delizioso appartamento a pochi metri da porto ( e dai due mini market); molto pulito, arredato con gusto e attenzione ai particolari; dispone anche di una piastra per cucinare; la vista dal terrazzino da’ sul paese e sul mare. Vasiliki e il marito sono gentilissimi e molto premurosi, lei parla anche un ottimo italiano. La sensazione è stata di andare a trovare degli amici, e non di conoscere dei proprietari per la prima volta. Vasiliki, grazie di tutto!

The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a perfect stay. It has a beautiful large balcony and a very functional kitchenette. Located very close to the port, beach, cafes & restaurants, and the mini marts it’s in an excellent location. The hosts are wonderful, kind and helpful people and their hospitality absolutely made our trip memorable. We can’t wait to come and stay with them again.

I would like to start with the island. It was my first time there and couldn't believe I hadn't visited it before. I had visited some other islands nearby but Donousa really surprised me. Continuing with the communication, the owners are truly nice people. We felt very welcome.They proposed where to go , eat and what we should visit and useful info of the itineraries of the ship. As I understood one of them organizes a lot of events during the summer period. ( Theatrical events,music,art etc..) which are visible in the apartments' webpage. The location is very convenient for exploring the island, while still feeling peaceful and has kept the authentic Cycladic attitude. What I want mostly by a holiday house is to be spotlessly clean and to be fully equipped. Both were better than expected . The apartment looked very well taken care of, also in the exterior. Early in the morning and late at night, we really enjoyed the lovely terrace with the great views. I looked other places around and this is the best value for money. I would certainly come back with my kids as well but I think, during September/October when it would be more peaceful and economical.

I would prefer to have stayed longer. We spent two days in Donousa and 3 more in Naxos, but I would gladly exchange the days in the latter. Donousa is simply nicer and more authentic
