Property was a great size and located in a central position which was very quiet and had 3 bathrooms which is good when you travel with family. Very convenient to the train station which was great as you could leave the car and use the public transport to many major towns.
The property is dog friendly but it would be nice if it had an enclosed garden so you could let the dog out in the evening.

The property was in a good location with Beach and Village shops very close by. It had a well equipped kitchen in terms of crockery and utensils. No dishwasher, but useful to have a washing machine. The property was next to a builders yard or junk yard - not the most endearing! It is adjacent to the railway line, but that wasn't an issue. The train stop meant it was easy to catch a train back to Coleraine for an evening out. In truth we still enjoyed our visit, but as a family who book properties every Easter, Christmas and both half terms, all over the island of Ireland, this is the least modern/well presented property we have stayed in for some times. It didn't impact our holiday as it was clean, helped by an owner who was friendly and hospitable, but you felt you were staying with an elderly aunt or very elderly great grandparents.
The decor was dated and there were a.number of items broken. Showers were poor, with very poor water pressure. The furniture was worn and aged. The cooker had a fault which meant it switched on OK but had to be switched off at the wall. The freezer was at the bottom of the hall rather than in the kitchen. Beds were old, mattresses were past their best and headboard in one room was held together with tape. The decor was VERY dated - think 1990's and you will be about right!
