Secluded Glamping Barrel - Fire Pit - Near Kynance Cove

Perfectly secluded, comfortable and clean bathroom

Nothing - was perfect

It was exactly as described. The barrel was cosy and warm. The location was stunning! It was located on the equestrian grounds in a field tucked away from the main work-grounds. Beyond were rolling hills, forests, and the Atlantic ocean. Above was more stars than I have ever seen in my life! Absolutely stunning views! The bed was also very comfortable (hint if you want the window open overnight, hang a towel out the window so the windows don't shut from wind)

The washroom/toilet combo was built ... Interestingly... The water doesn't drain properly, so after our neighbours from the other barrel had a shower they left a huge slippery puddle in the corner of the room. I actually slipped getting off the toilet because of it. (Luckily I fell back onto the toilet seat lol) So be careful, campers! There is sufficient kitchen utensils and supplies (more than expected actually) but the fridge was too small to share between two barrel-dwellers.

Lovely dark skies, nice location. Instructions and directions sent by hosts were spot on.

Unfortunately unable to use the firepit due to quite understandable concerns over dry grass.

It was so peaceful and the view is amazing, the accommodation was impeccable best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. Shame I only did one night not two as planned due to me forgetting my meds.
