amazing staff, very cool place with an amazing vibe and feel!
The rustic and salvage style mock up which really works well and makes gems of what used to be rubbish I’m sure! I loved it and would want to stay again in the future!

What an incredible place to stay! Facilities were so clean, hosts were friendly and attentive, we couldn’t have asked for more! Marshmallows, BBQ and wood for the chimenea all waiting for us when we arrived. £10 taxi down to Carbis Bay or St Ives. Highly recommend if you love some quirky glamping.

The peacefulness of the area and the facilities were everything we needed.

Amazing waking up to the view. Easy parking. Host was super friendly and helpful. We were visited by the friendliest cat who said good night to us then woke us up gently in the morning, what a surprise!
Already knew before going there but it can get a bit cold at night so walking to the shower is a bit breezy.

I booked a night in Sally Saracen as a bit of a curveball (and to prove to my partner that I can be ‘outdoorsy!) and what a fantastic choice it was!
As soon as we drove in through the gates, I knew it would be right up my street. The whole place is beautifully colourful;there are weird, wonderful and quirky items and bits of kit that really made it for me.
The hosts were exceptional - welcoming, informative and friendly - they showed us to Sally, talked about her very fondly and then explained the rest of the site.
We were originally going to venture into town for the afternoon, but we decided instead to nip out for some supplies and head back to ‘camp’. We lit our Chimnea, sat on our garden chairs and enjoyed an evening back to basics, taking in the stunning views.
I’m not usually one for the great outdoors, but the APC provided some home comforts - it was much warmer than a tent and the bed was comfy;the kitchen and washing facilities left us wanting for nothing.
I LOVE animals, so the pigs, ponies, sheep and cats were icing on the cake. I can’t wait to come back.
The only downside was I slept through my alarm so missed sun-up, but - I guess that means I’ll be booking again!

It was great fun and very relaxing
The owners, the location, the lovely pets - pigs, sheep, pony and cats. Really liked Sally and looking out and seeing the stars.

Staying in the Sally Saracen was an experience of a lifetime. perched high up on a hill, with only greenery, farm animals and a few neighbouring caravans around you was like taking a true moment to disconnect. It's glamping with heart. Take a loved one. Its back to basics, but everything has been laid out very well. My favourite was the pit fire you could burn at night. The family even left a bag of marshmallows for us to toast. A great experience.
There was a little noise at 6.30am on the morning that we were leaving but it didn't last long, and it is a working farm.

The landlord was been very nice with us offering a free night more as excuse for some works which were doing noise! The nature around and animals are quite the reason to sleep here!
I didn't like the trunk inside because it was really humid that I felt the bed was kind of wet, I didn't like eather all the spiders in the bathrooms, also if the place is in the nature I think it could be better cleaned!

Where do I start! This was a fantastic place to stay! It was a complete surprise for my partner as he had no idea where we were going to for the night, and he absolutely loved it! The view was fantastic, especially with the little piggy friends in front! Alex met us as we pulled up and gave us a tour of the place and was so friendly! The toilet and shower facilities were great, and the bed was very comfy considering what it was in! We had a nice fire at night and enjoyed the peace and quiet whilst watching the lights of the buildings in the far distance! If you want something quirky and different to stay in, then I would definitely say this will do! Thanks again for a great experience, amazing!
No bad points at all!

The sheer randomness of it all. A lot going on but honestly it all went so well! it’s a bloody tank on a farm with lots of friendly animals around and the hosts were so welcoming.
I would honestly recommend this to anyone!
The only thing I didn’t like was that we only stayed for one night! who would of thought that sleeping in an armoured personnel carrier would be so comfortable! even my girlfriend loved it!

It was a remarkable stay. One that I would remember for a long time. Very unique location and to be able to sleep inside a tank was an insane experience. Loved every bit of our stay. Excellent views across the fields. Crazy experience and an ever memorable one too.
They have made adequate provisions for anyone who wants to have a morning coffee or cook something light in their kitchen space.
Shower / toilet was clean and had everything 8n place. Clear instructions were given too.
I liked the fact that there was no real electricity inside. As we knew that in advance we were prepared to deal with it. In addition, mobile coverage was excellent. So, lack of electricity and WiFi didn't bother us!

Fantastic location with lovely views. Ideal point to start interesting walks. Only 30 minutes walk to the town of St. Ives.
It has an East facing location so excellent for views of the sunrise, and you don't even have to get out of bed.
What a novelty, an armed personal tank as your bedroom, that's "Glamping" with a difference?
On arrival, Alex showed us around the facilities available on the farm, and his Mother (owner of the farm) was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The farm was not easy to find, perhaps a more detailed sketch map or better still OS coordinates would be more precise? We found that the post code is not accurate enough to find it.

What a wonderful stay! Our trains were cancelled on Saturday so we had to find a place to stay on Friday night and go a day earlier, and we are so grateful we did. Our stay at Sally was wonderful. Alex was incredibly kind and picked us up from the station after a very delayed train, and showed us around the grounds. We saw the pigs, ponies & sheep. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was clean, and Sally was very comfortable. Both the sunrise and sunset was magnificent. Such a peaceful stay; just wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend.
That we couldn't stay another night.
