What an absolutely charming little place to stay! It was lovely to get out of the city and be surrounded by nature and the friendly farm animals, and the family that runs the place was so kind and helpful. The tank was also very cosy and actually surprisingly warm!
It's a little out of the way, you must be prepared to either walk over the hill or order a taxi to get anywhere. Of course, the remote location is also one of the perks, so as long as you know what you're getting into it'll be fine!

Staying in Sally Saracen.
The views & animals. Peaceful surroundings.
The signage, memorabilia, there was always something different to catch our eye & read.
Being cat lovers we particularly enjoyed the company of the cats.

Everything.
This was our second time staying in Sally, and it was another brilliant experience.
The weather was hit and miss, but no amount of rain could have dampened our spirits - we walked through the lanes to Carbis Bay for a wander and then came back ‘home’.
I was delighted to see additional pigs - alongside my favourite one from our last visit - who were very friendly and bounded up to the fence on several occasions (probably as they thought they were going to be fed, not because they were happy to see me…)
We saw 4 lovely cats, all whom were happy for a snuggle. And Ivy, who was particularly affectionate.
The facilities are beautifully maintained, very clean and leave you wanting for nothing. Sally was lovely as ever - all the comforts of a real bed, with all the fun bits of camping. And surprisingly warm.
The hosts are brilliant! Really welcoming and friendly. We’ve already got next year’s stay in the pipe line.
There’s nothing to dislike.
