Trullo di Theo

Well, Trullo di Theo is a little piece of heaven nestled 10 mins outside Ostuni. It had been designed and maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Kit inside is top-drawer. Our 10-day stay was fantastic. Highlights include the quiet and secluded location. A fantastic large pool, tended by contractors who came multiple times each week, keeping it super clean. Communication from the owner and Matteo, our local contact, were both fantastic. When you first approach the home, you’ll do so along a bumpy track road - don’t worry, this heaven awaits at the end! Just faithfully follow the pin. The location is perfect for exploring Puglia region. You’ll need a hire car to make the most of the location and get around, unless you plan to just stay at the villa for the vacation, which would also be nice.. shops and supermarkets in Ostuni are plentiful. Don’t go expecting fast internet - it’s really well setup with WiFi hotspots around the Trullo, but backed by a slow internet connection. This will be upgraded to satellite internet soon - but people don’t rent such a place to sit streaming TV shows! 😉. Being less reliant on immediate internet was quite liberating!

De weg naar het huis is heel slecht. Over het huis zelf is niks slechts te zeggen!

The trullo and grounds were beautiful. The pool was a fantastic way for our family to enjoy the downtime and escape the heat. The trullo was spacious and having two bathrooms was great for five of us. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful when we had some issues.

We felt that the location was out of the way. Everything was a long way away. It would have been good to know about the unsealed road, helping with car hire. The WiFi dropped out a lot making us unable to access maps and use our phones to make contact. The air conditioner also played up at times and we had issues with the power when we used a few appliances at the one time. For a family of five who wanted to use the trullo for meals there weren’t enough bowls and platters for us to cook.

Fantasztikus pár napot töltöttünk itt, csodaszép a környezet, a kert, az olajfákkal, életünk egyik legszebb szállása volt. A ház jól felszerelt, új, magas minőségű, az úszómedence pazar, biztos visszatérünk. Ostuni, ami kb. 15-20 perc kocsival egy hangulatos város tele jó éttermekkel. Matteo és Gianluca segítőkészekés kedvesek voltak, köszönjük!
