Great place, perfect central location for visiting many cool places in Puglia, close enough to Adria and Ionian sea. Very nice interior, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for couple with or w/o kids or 2 couples. Great pool!

Keys were easy to collect. The property is in a quiet location and architecturally lovely. The beds were comfortable. The host responded quickly to queries.

While i understand the property is a trullo, the layout of the inside is not optimal. Specifically, occupants of the back bedroom have to walk through the other bedroom or go outside in order to access the kitchen. One of the bedrooms bed is immediately adjacent to its bathroom which had a sewer like odor that wafted into the bedroom requiring us to keep the door closed. Furthermore, to try to mask the smells, there were two cloying cloth sachets that smelled of licorice and were quite overpowering. We relocated these deodorizers outside for the duration of our stay, but the scent did linger. Additionally, some maintenance/upkeep would be in order. For example, the pool liner is discolored and was dirty along seams, the alarm system did not work, the air con did not function, the light in one of the bedrooms was malfunctioning and strobing. Additionally, while the house sleeps 4, there were only 2 wine glasses, one of which had a crack. We drank wine from the coffee mugs. Another odd thing was that only 1 roll of toilet paper was provided per bathroom. We were told by the host that he would provide us the location of more if we needed it and provided photos (not sure what that meant). Also, while the water at the property is not drinkable, there were only 4 small bottles of water provided for our stay. I would have thought given the price more would be provided. Other miscellaneous items negative include sun loungers that could only be adjusted to 2 positions and were too short for our family, a back deck that is in need of repair, difficult to unlock outside barred doors and more concerning, only one set of keys to unlock doors should a quick exit be required. Lastly, while I understood that the property was well off of a main road, the drive was down single or one and a half track lanes that were difficult to navigate at night and when oncoming traffic appeared. The last 800 meters or so are down a really uneven/rutted unpaved road
