1Fにはプロジェクターがあり子供達とGWも楽しく過ごせました！ 子供が居る家族ですとあのベットは最高に良いです！ みんなで寝れるので本当に良かったです！

Location's excellent. It's a couple blocks away from Teradacho Station, which is less than 1km away from Tennoji (one of the central stations for the region), making it a great home base. One may not even need to go to Tennoji since the airport train sometimes passes through here, as well as several intercity trains (I remember Nara-bound trains stopping here). The area it's in is quite residential. I've found myself almost feeling like "one of the guys" over there, which has happened at least once (I'm mistaken for Japanese at times, sometimes I've been mistaken as a guy who came home from abroad). The nearby shopping streets have plenty of food and grocery options (7-11, Famima, Lawson, Life, several fastfood/local restos/izakayas). There's even a nearby coin laundry, barber, beauty salon, sento, masseuse, and a Don Quijote! Seriously, if one wanted to have a staycation day, you'll pretty be all set just going around the area for supplies. Place is much wider than the pictures show, it can comfortably handle a family of 10 (which we were). 2 bedrooms, 1 living room that can be converted to a third bedroom, 2 toilets, and 1 bathroom are quite a lot for a 2-storey. Even has 2 TVs (the projector at the first floor counts), so one can watch a couple videos in the morning/evening. Place is very clean. Owner takes particular care to have it cleaned, and it shows. Spotless. Owner's responsive too, he will get back to you in a couple minutes. He did leave all of the bases covered by posting clear signs and a manual throughout the house, so the only time you may ever need to contact him is in an emergency.

I have to stress that these aren't attributable to the host. He did an amazing job. These are more nitpicks that are more inherent in the area itself. The streets leading up to the house are quite narrow-- cabs especially have a hard time fitting. This is a problem others in the vicinity face. This is more of a minor annoyance since one can be picked up or dropped off at two nearby landmarks, either the sento (Tenryu Yu) or a nearby recycling facility. Just something to consider when taking a cab. As is common in some older Japanese houses, the stairs leading up to the second floor can be quite steep. There is a chance most of your luggage will be in the living room if you can't handle bringing them up to the second floor. While the host has taken precautions by treating the stairs to make them quite grippy (I don't slip even with socks on), this has to be considered if you're with young children or elderly.
