Rushing Falls by Venture Smoky Mountains

The view was amazing and it was very peaceful. My kids really enjoyed the creek and the hot tub. The layout is creative. The porches are nice touch. There are multiple access points to the porches.

None of the doors - except for the front door with the code - locked. This is a bit terrifying in an unfamiliar place. There are other houses around, so it's not like it is secluded. The railing to the inside stairs is wobbly. The floor at the top of the stairs is also a bit loose and moves when stepped on. There are no curtains for any kind of privacy. The upstairs room can be accessed directly from the ground in the woods as that roof is almost adjacent to the ground, not to mention goes directly to a curtainless window. Most of the windows are painted shut and have been pretty much boarded up with plexiglass or fabric looking stuff. The beds are also super hard - so keep this in mind if you have back problems. There were partial rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. No travel shampoo/conditioner available. The upstairs bathroom has cobwebs up the corner of the wall to the right of the sink. There isn't an arcade as advertised. There is an arcade style video game in the living room that doesn't have responsive sensitivity. If you have a large vehicle, parking is a bit tricky because turning around can be difficult. It is also not handicap accessible. There is a bridge with many steps that must be walked to get to the cabin with no kind of ramp for mobility assistance. For the price of this cabin, I expected much more as I have stayed in pristine places for much less.

Good location

The code to get in to property did not work waited for hours to get some one to open it
