18th Century Traditional Sunset House - Castrum Traditional Suites

Staying here was one of the best decisions I made during my entire trip! The house is absolutely beautiful, with so much charm and character. I loved the historic architecture, the thoughtfully designed interiors, the tasteful decor, and the beautifully maintained outdoor areas. And the views are simply breathtaking! Everything inside was designed with comfort in mind, from the comfortable bed to the good towels. A special thank you to Sami, who manages the property and is always around to help. He was welcoming, attentive, making sure everything was going well. The service was truly wonderful! The location is also great if you want to enjoy the town. Although the house is situated on a hillside, you can reach the town center in just 3 - 5 mins on foot, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. For beaches and exploring the surrounding area, however, having a car is definitely recommended.

The only thing worth keeping in mind is the access to the property. Since the house is located on a hill, you need to climb old, uneven stone steps to reach it. This might be a little challenging for some people, especially in rainy weather. There is also no parking directly at the property for the same reason. If you’re travelling with heavy suitcases or have mobility difficulties, this is something to consider beforehand. The staff can help carry your luggage for an additional fee. That said, this is not a criticism of the property itself, just something worth knowing before you arrive.

I loved the old vibe of the place! Everything was perfect from us arriving and the property manager guiding us to the house and offered if we needed help for our bags to be carried to the hotel, to the cleanliness of the room towels for the beach the staff and don’t want to forget the view the best view in milos by far! Overall perfect stay 10/10 stars! Would recommend and would be back if i ever come back to Milos! Thank you! 🙌🏼
