Woodlands Retreat Holiday Home

A very cozy, well taken care of and well equipped place. My first time in a holiday caravan and it was great! Thank you for the lovely stay 😊

Nothing

It was very clean and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay.

Nothing

A lovely caravan for our family holiday, caravan location was stunning, and caravan was equipped with everything you needed. We had some beautiful days out, and even when the weather wasn't great, the caravan was cosy for films and games travelling with 2 teen boys, there was plenty of room for us all. We would definitely book back up to stay here again. Would also recommend a visit to the logan fish pond 😊 we were lucky enough to see dolphins 🐬 swimming in the sea just outside and very reasonable prices for a trip out.

Beautiful surroundings, the views are amazing. Caravan has everything you need and more, definitely home from home. sandwich maker & airfryer were a great help. Large decking areas are great, with lots of seats, added bonus of gas bbq. Very quiet & peaceful, Host were great at responding to messages, Swimming pool and sauna is sole use for your group, which is absolutely fantastic, book in advance of your trip, so you can secure your swimming slots, Wee Aird dairy in Stranraer for fresh milk & free range eggs, the boys loved having different flavoured milk each day, also have freshly baked goods, Homemade, great little dairy 😋

We liked our stay , but ... Quite a way out from everything, it's ideal if you want a peaceful break, Site pub only serves food Friday to Sunday. No gym or sauna as described on Lagganhouse website. Laundry room was closed for our full stay. Very little room in bedrooms as it's 3 bedroom, en suite is good though. The village is a very small village, 1 shop, 1 pump petrol station, only open during the day, need to travel to Girvan or Stranraer for supermarkets.
