Clare Glens was lovely and peaceful. Nice to have the place to myself. Great kitchen and very close to Newport. The Glen walk way is a fabulous escape and only a small walk to get to it. Really enjoyed the space and definitely stay again.

Very cleanl (had several reviews about cottage being dirty) & layout was good. The shower was huge. Host was very responsive to my questions.
For the money over €1000/wk), I expected a few things. But I think these 2 important for future bisitors.
1. Current instructions/manual for cottage. Needs updated badly.
2. It would be very helpful for visitors if the cottage had a "Clare Glens" sign. The geographic coordinates from Booking dot com's location directions is more accurate than putting cottage address into Google maps. Most of the houses on the road have a "black gate."

Nice layout inside. Kitchen area very well planned.
Upstairs toilet hadn’t been cleaned. Kitchen stools had lots of food remains at back of seats . One of the cooking pots didn’t look washed. Door handles and surrounds were grubby downstairs. Wooden floor upstairs didn’t look clean.
