Makris Gialos Maisonette

The owner of the apartment, Dionisis, met us there when we arrived. He showed us round and told us about the area. Lovely guy and very responsive, answering messages quickly. Very spacious apartment on two floors. Steps take you up to the apartment which is above a car rental shop; inside is the living area & kitchen which is a great size with 2 sofas, AC & a TV plus a big dining table, plus everything you need in the kitchen. Single & double bedrooms and a lovely bathroom lead off. Both bedrooms have wardrobes and AC. There’s also a great washing machine. Up the stairs is a big loft bedroom, again with AC and another bathroom. Outside is a big balcony with great views, table & chairs and a retractable awning. Very peaceful apartment at one end of the strip. Zorbas restaurant & a supermarket are next door, plus you can access some of the beaches very easily within a few minutes walk. Makris Gialos beach is beautiful with lovely sunbeds & a beach bar. We ate somewhere different every night for a week and didn’t have one bad meal. We went to Mariana’s pool next door, lovely pool with plenty beds & a fabulous pool bar. Great spacious apartment in a great location, would definitely recommend.
