Location, two minutes from Elstree and Borehamwood station, on the main high street. We were able to walk everywhere.

The lift wasn’t working. We had been travelling and arrived with two large suitcases, fortunate the apartment was on the first floor! No indication if it was a temporary breakdown and waiting for technician or a long term situation.

It was very well situated and well furnished

Lack of towel rail or hooks in the bathroom.

The property is close to the train station which is very convenient but the flat, although accessed from a side road, faces onto the main road so extremely noisy if the windows are open. The rooms are spacious and bright, the furnishings new and it was very clean. Towels were generously supplied. Fernando was very responsive to any issue that arose.

There were a few problems: the main one being a very strong smell of the flat having been sprayed against insects - the smell did not abate in the four days we were there. It was worst in the kitchen area. There were tiny ants in the bathroom. No laundry pods were supplied (we were initially informed that guests were expected to supply their own!). The general supplies of soap, shampoo and other things you expect in a holiday flat with self-catering facilities were very sparse. That being said, once we contacted Fernando, he supplied the laundry pods. Also the internet failed at one point. Again, we had to contact Fernando, and he instructed us how to change to a different network.
