I stayed at Moustache Houseboat for 2 nights and 3 days, and it was truly one of the highlights of my Kashmir trip. The hospitality here is exceptional. A special thanks to Abrar, Sadam, and Adil, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. They were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and always available to assist with local sightseeing, travel plans, and any queries I had. The houseboat is exactly as shown in the pictures—if anything, even more beautiful in person. It is extremely well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the amenities promised, including 24-hour hot water and comfortable facilities throughout. The location at Ghat 17 is perfect, offering mesmerizing views of the lake at every time of the day. The peaceful surroundings, combined with the beautiful patio area, make it an ideal place to relax with a cup of kehwa in the morning or unwind in the evening What truly sets this place apart is the warmth and genuine care of the team. They accommodate your schedule, help plan your days, and make you feel completely at home. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Srinagar. Highly recommended, and I would happily stay here again.

There is nothing that I did not like. Everything was perfect because I chose the place as per my needs. Also there is a specific time when the electricity goes 6-8am, 12-2pm, 5-7pm but this is in all the boathouses in the lake. So I wouldn’t call it an issue but just so if you are planning to stay in boathouse one should be aware of the real.
