Havsnära villa med vedeldad bastu, perfekt för familjer och företag

comfortable house for two families; we had a wonderful time. The house is modern and warm, despite the -17ºC outside. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay: cutlery, dishes, a dishwasher, and other amenities. Everything was clean and tidy, with beautiful Scandinavian design and Christmas decorations. We even had two cats who live outside visit us, and as it turned out, although their coloring is very similar, they are two different cats. :) The wood-burning, candlelit sauna was absolutely wonderful, even in the freezing cold! It's located downstairs by the river, which was frozen. The house is equipped with electric car charging, and we could charge it for free with the owners' consent. The owners are wonderful people, with excellent communication. Due to bad weather and a red/yellow warning from the SMHI, we couldn't return to Stockholm, so we were able to extend our visit for another day. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The house really needed a fireplace! It would have been perfect! And so, in general, my recommendations to the hosts: * A microwave and a regular kettle are missing. But we simply boiled water for tea in a Moccamaster kettle, which is less convenient, but it works. * In the sauna, both doors were warped and couldn't be closed tightly, escaping a lot of heat into the cold. * The bathroom on the second floor was functional, but there were issues with water leaking from somewhere under the jacuzzi itself; perhaps the drain was simply clogged. We didn't use it. Overall, these are minor issues that didn't significantly impact our stay, and everything was comfortable.
