You’ll see neighbors walking dogs and pushing baby strollers as you enjoy the new amenities in house as well as the private back porch equipped with twinkling lights to set an ambient outdoor experience. “Rest easy at the speakeasy!” The speakeasy cottage gets its name from the original hardware on the front door.

The home is yours to enjoy. Private backyard and porch and all bedrooms, kitchen, dining, laundry and bathroom.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is in midtown, which means the heart of Macon. Close to downtown and north Macon. Walking distance to a family friendly park, museums (museum of arts and sciences and the big house museum) hospitals and interstates are just a few minutes from home.
Getting Around:
There is a private driveway to park as well as free street parking. There are sidewalks in the neighborhood to walk and enjoy the charming cottages and parks. Short car ride to many shops, restaurants, hospitals and museums.

Smoking only outside. No parties.

Again, we had a great stay at The Speakeasy Cottage. It is the perfect place when are visiting Macon for Mercer football games. Go Bears!
