About this cottage rental
All-inclusive cottage (except tourist tax) in a detached cottage next to the owner's house (entrance through the shared property).
On the ground floor: living room with lounge/dining room (TV) and equipped kitchenette. Shower room (shower, sink, toilet).
Upstairs (stairs: low height): 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140x190 cm). 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140x200 cm). Separate toilet.
Outside: garden shared with the owner, with a private area in front of the cottage (terrace). No private parking, but free outdoor parking is available. Enclosed area for potential bicycle storage.
Baby equipment available: crib, high chair, stroller, changing table, safety gate for the stairs, etc. Shared washing machine available upon request. Wi-Fi. Non-smoking accommodation. Welcome to "Le Maupas", a cozy cottage located in Chailles, a small rural town in Loir-et-Cher, at the gates of Blois (5 km), a city of art and history where there is no shortage of activities: visit the Royal Castle and the old town, marvel at the House of Magic, horse-drawn carriage rides, canoe rides, etc. The "Loire à Vélo" circuit will allow you to enjoy the spectacle that nature offers, and to cross typical towns and villages of the Loire Valley. Discover nearby magical places such as the Gardens of Chaumont-sur-Loire (15 min), the castles of Cheverny, Chambord (20 km), Amboise (30 km), or Villesavin, Beauregard, etc. A little further (30 to 45 min from Chailles), do not miss the discovery of the Zooparc de Beauval, or the Matra Automobile Museum in Romorantin. For wine and food lovers, the region offers plenty to offer: a wide selection of restaurants, wine cellars, the Max Vouché chocolate shop, the Chambord biscuit factory, and numerous local producers.
