The short hike to Lai Nair and Avrona, which can be reached in around an hour from Chasa Valbernard, is popular. In addition, the only Swiss national park is nearby. The valley station of the mountain railways can be reached by bus in just 5 minutes. All public transport is free of charge in summer as well as in winter. The Martina-Scuol Valley Trail is 7 minutes away by car. The ice rink and Gurlaina soccer field are a 10-minute walk away.
There are shops in nearby Scuol, 5 minutes away by car/post bus or 15 minutes by bike/on foot. The impressive Tarasp Castle can be reached by car and post bus in about 6 minutes.
