Yosemite Pines Chateau at Bass Lake

Loved it, especially the location and the atmosphere of the house.

Fun trip for my 60th bday. Beautiful house, well equipped with all you need. Community pool right across the street. Wonderful host worked with my daughter and best friend on their surprises for me and continued to be quickly available for any questions we had.

Home is beautiful, clean, everything you need and more. Location near the lake is perfect and community amenities were great. Lots of fun memories with family. Thank you!

The house is beautiful and in a prime location right across from the pool. However on our stay the AC was out the first night during a heat wave which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. There are small fans and a box fan provided in each room but that wasn't enough to cool down the house. Our host was able to get a repair guy out to us, but it meant one of our party had to wait for him during the 2hr window given, missing out on fun lake time. Also once the AC was fixed we noticed no matter how much we adjusted it, it would readjust to 75 and maintain that temp which was still very warm for so many guests in the house. The fireplace was also lowly lit, host stated it was ok and was in the works for repair, it also created a small source of heat. Lake is a short walk and there are plenty of sporting equipment to keep you entertained. The only major Con for us was the failing AC, when you are looking to get away from the heat at home and you are unable to make the property comfortably cool, it's rough. My advice is check the AC as soon as you get in so they can get it repaired at the beginning of your vacation.
