About this apartment rental
This is a self-contained, ground-level apartment inside our home in The Reserve at Ashley Ridge, a quiet gated neighborhood in Felida near Curtis Lake. You have your own private entrance and no shared indoor spaces.
SLEEPING (up to 4 guests)
• Bedroom 1: queen memory foam bed and a very large double closet with plenty of shelves and hanging space
• Bedroom 2: super comfortable king memory foam bed that can split into 2 twins. Great for kids or friends traveling together.
ACCESSIBLE & EASY
• No stairs from the level parking area to the entry
• 36-inch doorways throughout
• Low-threshold shower
• Lit path to the entrance and step-free patio
WORK & STAY AWHILE
• Gigabit internet, a dedicated workspace and a laser printer
• Full kitchen with a large pantry
• Laundry
• Smart TV with Xfinity cable (sign in with your own Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu and other accounts)
• Monthly stays welcome. Well suited to traveling nurses and relocating families, with Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center just minutes away.
OUTSIDE
• Private patio overlooking the river valley and nature reserve
• Nature trails right from the neighborhood
• Optional ping pong area next door
GETTING AROUND
• 12 minutes to I-5 and I-205
• About 15 minutes to downtown Vancouver, 25 to PDX airport and 30 to downtown Portland
Guest access:
You'll have the whole apartment with a private back entrance. We'll send you the neighborhood gate code before you arrive. There are two parking options: a private gravel area level with the entry (no steps) or a concrete pad a few steps above the apartment. Free Level 2 EV charging is available during your stay.
Other things to note:
• Pets are welcome with owner approval ($130 per stay). The nearby trails are great for dog walks.
• A train line runs down the hill below the property. You may hear a soft rumble at times, but we rarely hear a horn.
• There are several security cameras outside only. There are none inside the apartment.

Wonderful place to stay - I could write 10 pages, but here's the gist: Dan and Bev are truly excellent hosts and they really want everyone to have the best time possible. They are renting a huge apartment, in the lower lever of their house. The sunset in the picture, is not an exaggeration - every night we were there, we saw amazing sunset and even bald eagles and buzzard (they have a special "buzzard tree", just past the backyard. The view will amaze you, even in the middle of the day!Each bedroom has it's own desk, comfortable chair and computer hook-ups/plugs. There's even a small printer available (if we didn't break it when we were there....fingers crossed)!The kitchen is as huge as it looks in the VRBO pics and it has everything you'll need, including an electric kettle and K-Cup coffee machine, a crock pot, hand held blenders, and so much more - if there's anything that you might need/want, Bev has it upstairs, I'm sure, so don't hesitate to ask.Of course the apt has central AC/Heat, but Dan and Bev have also added mini-splits in each bedroom so you can adjust each bedroom, to the temperature of your liking! Who would do that type of thing? Only hosts who really do care about your comfort!The beds are very comfortable, with luxurious pillows and the sheets that are nice and soft. Each bedroom has a huge custom closet (WITH hangers), so there's plenty of room for you to bring your entire winter AND summer wardrobe.
