About this house rental
*Effective 2025, please note there's an ongoing construction going on next door. Even though it does not effect our property, you can expect some construction noise during business hours and limited parking. Please consider this when making a reservation.
Beautiful and cozy setting for your stay in the beautiful city of Vancouver. This house is located in the heart of the historic part of downtown built in the late 1800s early 1900s. It's within a 5 minute walk to the Uptown Villa with many places to visit, dine and shop. You're also within a 5 minute drive to the Esther Short park and a newly developed Vancouver Waterfront with many wine tasting rooms, restaurants and coffee shops.
The house was just completely renovated with new exterior and new interior, including appliances, flooring, paint, as well as new furniture. It has central heating and AC, TVs in each room, fully stocked kitchen and all other essential needed for your short and long-term stays, including a full size washer and dryer. Get the wood burning fireplace going for a cozy evening with your loved ones.
A plenty of street parking is available right in front of the entrance door.
Pets are welcome. It has a small backyard that's fully fenced. Additional $150 pet fee will be required.
Please note that this is a multifamily home. A garage unit at the back of the house is rented out separately. No spaces are shared.
High chair and travel crib are available upon request.

The home space is lovely. It is spacious and well furnished. We enjoy walking in the neighborhood. There are great coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. AC provided comfort on a very hot day. The furniture was very comfortable, especially the couch/loveseat and beds. Very nice decor and updated appliances. Skylights provided a lot of natural light. Host was very communicative and was upfront about construction next door (which was not going on during the weekend). Plenty of street parking and quiet neighborhood. We were close to restaurants and downtown for easy access to attractions. Would book this place again if ever we are in the area.

Place was great itself, I think it was a bit overpriced and we didn't get much accommodation when we tried to change our booking dates even though we booked it last minute. I think a lot of that was also a problem on VRBO's end. Probably will not be using the app in general anymore
