About this apartment rental
Consider this corporate apartment your home away from home while you visit San Diego. This lovely space features small 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a small bathroom with a shower and hair dryer, and convenient amenities like a separate laundry room, AC, heating, and fast wifi. It is near the airport, yet has no noise from commercial planes. Quiet neighborhood. Amazing View. Walk to beach.
Bedroom- In NYC, this would be considered a junior 1, as there is no door between the bedroom and the living space. There is a large closet, with plenty of shelves.
Kitchen- brand new kitchen installed in late 2024 with new range, microwave, dishwasher, etc.
Huge deck. We pass through the deck on rare occasion to take care of the fruit trees and garden below. But other than that, it is basically your private deck. The deck is equipped with a dining table and chairs, as well as an umbrella that can only be used on no-wind days.
Living room with small mid century Arne Jacobsen Swan love seat, Eames chair, and mini Noguchi glass coffee table. Think great back support, but not soft and plush. There is a TV, but frankly, you will be looking at the view, walking along the nearby La Playa trail, or enjoying the beach or harbor only a couple blocks away.
The best view in San Diego. You can see city light, the ocean, San Diego Bay, sail boats and all the other vessels going in/out of the bay, Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Coronado, and all four barges of fireworks on July 4. It is truly spectacular.
We go to sleep early, so check-in after 9 can be difficult. We have a lock box, but we want to be available in case you have difficulty finding it. Please contact me before booking if you need to check-in late.
