A quaint cottage located in this fantastic village with great local walks and pubs, nestled by a serene stream makes it a perfect peaceful retreat.. All on the ground floor.

Bathroom: With shower cubicle and toilet.. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Front garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Mill Close Cottage is a charming, ground-floor retreat nestled in the village of Holymoorside. The cottage offers an inviting open-plan living space, and the lounge area, complete with a wood burner, creates a warm and intimate atmosphere. The dining table comfortably seats four, making it a perfect spot for meals or games, and the well-equipped kitchen allows for easy preparation of meals. There are two bedrooms: a double bedroom and the second with bunk beds, both thoughtfully designed to ensure a restful stay. A shower room completes the cottage’s amenities.
For guests’ convenience, a separate building houses a freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer, all free to use during your stay. Outside, the cottage boasts a delightful garden, with a patio area by a gently babbling stream, providing a serene and unique setting. Mill Close Cottage is situated in an idyllic part of Derbyshire, offering a wide range of activities and attractions for all types of visitors. Holymoorside itself is a peaceful village with two great local pubs. For nature lovers, the surrounding area is a walker’s paradise. There is easy access to a network of local footpaths and hiking trails, offering stunning views of the countryside. Embark on the Monsal Head, Tissington, or High Peak Trail, or head to Edale and Castleton for more challenging hikes.
Nearby, the Chatsworth Estate offers scenic walks, Chatsworth House itself is a must-see. A short drive will take you to Bakewell, famous for its charming streets and the iconic Bakewell pudding.
