About this villa rental
In Floridia, a few kilometers from the marvelous city of Syracuse, about 10 km from both rocky and sandy beaches, stands Villa Adria, surrounded by large green spaces and a swimming pool where you can relax and spend pleasant moments. The villa consists of ground floor and first floor both of 80 square meters. The ground floor is characterized by a large open-plan kitchen-living room with a large masonry kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with many small appliances such as microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, blender and juicer. In the right corner of the room there is a pretty fireplace made of pink marble. The ground floor is equipped with satellite TV with satellite dish and 2 sofas, also has a large bathroom with corner shower, equipped with hairdryer, and a utility room used as a laundry. From the internal staircase there is a small sitting room on the upper floor furnished with armchairs and satellite TV, allowing access to the bedrooms and to another bathroom, also with shower enclosure. There are 3 bedrooms: a bedroom with a single bed, a bedroom with three single beds, a bunk bed and a double bedroom. All rooms overlook spacious terraces with pool and lawn views, both furnished with: tables, chairs and umbrellas. The villa has two rather large verandas, including a blanket on which there is also a wood-burning oven and barbecue.
Attached to the house is a circular, elevated pool (diameter 8 m, depth about 150 cm). The property is surrounded by a large citrus grove. Access to the villa is guaranteed by a wide paved road (7 m wide x 50 m long), on which numerous flowering pots and trees surround the perimeter. Near the house there are two fountains, both working, one centrally located and equipped with led lights. The property is surrounded by a large citrus grove.

Excellent location for relaxing and exploring the gems of South-West Sicily. The villa was as described. Clean and nicely decorated. The pool was great, a bit cold, probably best for Summer holidays when the heat warms it up, but we enjoyed it anyway. We warmly recommend this villa.

Villa Adria offers everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. We enjoyed the most eating outside on the terrace.
We were welcomed very friendly by the hosts and they were very helpful during our stay. It is private place surrounded by the yard with lemon trees. Most of the time we could enjoy the quiet surrounding.

We have stayed at Villa Adria with two kids and two adults for one week. The hosts gave us very warm welcome. The house has everythig you need for comfortable stay. The location is just outside Floridia village. Supermaket is only 10 min drive. The area has plenty of places to visit. We have enjoyed it a lot.

Thank you Adriana and Stefano for your hospitality. You met us outside the village Floridia, when we arrived late in the evening, and escorted us to the villa.The last stretch we drove through citrus cultures to a charming driveway with plants, benches and lighting.
Inside the house there was a welcome basket of goodies. The pizza and the homemade cake were also delicious after a long trip. Good space lower level in the villa for cooking and socializing and also one bathroom. Upstairs 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom. We were 5 adults and 2 children (10 mounths, 3 years). Everything was fixed to the children. There was plenty of space for the kids to play on the lawn and balconies. The domestic cat was loved by the children. They named him Findus after the Swedish saga "Pettersson and the cat Findus".
The large pool was lovely, it felt like swimming in a sea of citrus trees. Most appreciated was the hot tube, since it was a week with quite a lot of blowing, raining and thunderstorms. We have visited fascinating Etna in sunshine and charming Taormina. It was very interesting to learn about the historical background in Syracuse - Parco Archeologico della Neapolis and Ortigia, (the old part of the town),
Villa Adria is a great place for holiday. We would highly recommend this accomodation. Communication was easy both before and during our stay.
