About this house rental
This pet-friendly, 4-bedroom house located in a quiet neighborhood is perfect for a family vacation, friends getaway, or extended business trip. There is plenty of room to spread out in the spacious living and kitchen areas, den, bonus room, front & back decks, fenced-in backyard, or large bedrooms - each with its own bathroom. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood off the main roads, but is still close by many shops, restaurants, and the beach. We look forward to hosting you at Rowantree Retreat.

Perfect for our family with grown children. Which had their own room and bathroom. Kitchen very nicely appointed. Lots of stuff to work with. Hated I had to drive to beach as there was not any parking with East beach closed due to construction. I hoe that opens back in the prime summer time. I would definitely stay here again. The beds were very comfortable (maybe dream clouds) but could use a couple more pillows in the house or bring your own. We rented this house twice we liked it so much. Beautiful artwork ! I loved the painting over the couch in the tv room.

We found this property to be the perfect match for our situation. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, we prefer that. If you are looking for a "hang it out the roof" loud beach experience, this is not for you. Even though the house is designed without halls, the bedrooms are still whisper quiet and wonderfully oversized. The kitchen size and equipment were perfect. We only prepared breakfast, but I have no doubt you could easily prepare full meals for four couples. We are past the point in life for little ones, the open floor might be a bit loud with little ones, but works well with adults. Of course, St. Simons Island is small enough that you are just a few minutes drive from the beach. The nice part of this location is you can use the "side roads" for much of your travel without fighting the main road all the time. I'd rather stay here than in the more heavily tourist focused areas. I really have nothing negative to say, found the hosts to be responsive and recommend this property.

It was pet friendly! This house was a great set-up for my husband and myself, plus our 3 adult daughters. everyone had their own room and bathroom. The house was well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our visit and can not wait to come again! Our only complaint was we had to go home to work, would have loved to have stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay! We were escaping an ice storm in Upstate SC. We brought our daughter and our two grandsons as well as our little dog . The home had the perfect set up for us. It was extremely clean and had all of the extras needed while traveling! We enjoyed the book collection and art work . St Simon’s Island is also a treasure. Thank you for a wonderful get away !!
