We had a fun stay at the Bear Whisperer. We definitely saw evidence of bear visits but no actually friends during our stay. We were very appreciative that the property was dog friendly so that our mom could enjoy time with her precious grand-dogs.
There was plenty of room inside for our 4 adult couples and hammocks, hot tub and the sauna gave us good stay home entertainment options.
Be prepared for the driveway, it’s got a run off stream running down most of it. The house had just the minimum of disposables and no large cooking pot (for corn) or larger casserole dishes. We purchased and left pot holders at the house. However the dishes, glassware and silverware were plentiful. If you plan to cook for a large group I’d recommend bring some of your larger cookware items. In addition all spices, oils, foil, etc.
Only other draw back is that the property has no water access. But everything was as advertised and we had a terrific time. We would definitely return with better packing!

The house is privately located at the top of a hill with beautiful surrounding woods. Home design was outstanding, both the architecture and decorating. We plan to come back here again.
One small note, which the owners disclaimed, is that the road to get in to the property is gravel with large potholes. Four wheel drive a must in the winter.

The house is beautiful and had plenty of space for all of us! However, we did not have heat for two days, this was during snowy cold winter weather. Dishwasher did not work, spent a lot of time handwashing dishes. House has DISH satellite with no way of watching any of the NYE games. Fireplace flue would not open properly so the house got filled withsmoke. Hard to enjoy the vacation time and be ok with the money we spent with all of these issues.
