Mountain Joy is less than 2 miles from the ski slopes and within an easy 5 minute drive of other great mountain-lake activities.
ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake access with dock slip located along Marsh Hill Road, across from the house. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Please note that there is no direct parking area by the lake access point.

This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

The property photos were a bit deceiving as the fire pit area was on a hill, It appeared to be a flat area for kids to run and play. It was rather steep. The porch was great and we enjoyed the closed off steps to keep the kids safe at top. We loved that it was dog friendly to bring our fur family with us. The beds were on the firm side and all of our guests were a tad uncomfortable sleeping. We thought the common docks were a big closer to the property from the photos as well. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed, thank you! It was a good visit, but was a bit disappointed with the property listing accuracy. I am sure this location would be lovely for a winter visit.
