Forest Sunset hostel

Everything, this is the best hostel to stay at. The view is excellent, the dorm room is excellent, the breakfast is excellent.

The property is a little bit further away from the Main Street, but it's soooo worth it! It's very chill and quiet, The hosts are super nice and helpful. I've been at a lot of hostels before, but this hostel and the service is close to perfect! There are several breakfast options you can choose from in the mornings and these are real meals; it's so so tasty! You can rent bikes, ebikes or scooters at the hostel as well Loved it and extended some nights!

Pros: Clean, serene, nature. If you want to be away from the business of Tam Coc then this would be a great alternative. Dorm rooms were spotless, beds super cozy. Lots of room for your things. Facilities are spacious, restaurant on site. Showers had hot water. The owners give you a snack pack when you leave the property of sweet rice crips which is a nice gesture.

Cons: Not one staff member could speak english - they try to help but it can become frustrating using their translation app to communicate. Daily breakfast is sparse, and they won't allow any alterations - I tried asking / swapping fruit vs toast with my eggs but it was a no. The isolation of this place definitely allows for a more zen vibe - personally, I left early because I wanted to be walking distance to food/shops. Its about 25min drive to get into Tam Coc and can get pricey using Grab taxi's. If you prefer more action and lively facility I suggest this place is not for you.
