Budget-Friendly Studio In Southeast London

Nice clean room with shared facilities. The neighborhood wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst either. We got exactly what we paid for, and even a bit more. Would book again.

Everything was so clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was really cool and next to the train and bus station.

Good location as it’s right next to a few bus stops and a train station. I appreciated the fact that there were pots and pans as well as two plates, a bowl, a mug and a handful of cutlery that were available. Towels were provided as well as the room having decent storage available for clothing.

It was quite awkward getting in touch with the person who provided the keys. There needs to be a better system as people are arriving at the accommodation at different times so she was all over the place trying to help everyone. There were no additional pillows available which I included in my request when booking. I would have appreciated being told that they only have a set amount of pills and bedding (including duvets) for each room, before arriving. Barely any hot water came out of the shower but it was super hot coming out of the taps. It also cost £5 for a wash and dry of your own clothes. The studio itself was dirty on arrival. No one bothered to hoover, wipe the cobwebs in the corner of the walls or the light or do any dusting. You could tell there wasn’t much care in the cleanliness of the room. Make sure to provide your own toilet tissue as this doesn’t get topped up (I was there for 6 days). Overall, it’s a very cheap studio accommodation. I didn’t expect much but I would at least expect it to be clean. A good place to stay if you genuinely have no other options
