The location is great. We were also lucky enough to enjoy spider monkeys from our balcony. It felt great to be in amongst so much nature. Plenty of tours and activities available from this location also. We booked the ‘Turtle Package’ and the people at the property helped to ensure this all ran smoothly (3 activities in one package).
The kitchen facilities were not sufficient to really do anything with. It was more an en-suite room, than a self sufficient apartment.

Lovely place right next to the national park and sufficiently far away from the main road to be undisturbed by the crowds. Very good organization of the tours (turtles, canals, hike). Don’t forget to rent boots for turtles and hikes. There is a lot of mud on the way. Staff was great. Spider monkeys came by a couple of times.

The property is on the edge of the national park and we had a balcony overlooking the forest. We saw sloths and monkeys. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Friendly hosts.
You have to pay by cash. There was building work going on while we were there, which wasn't loud but impacted use of the balcony.

The owners, Rodrigo and Adriana, went out of their way to make us welcome. We were given a complimentary tour of the Sea Turtle Conservancy and local Casa de Cultura, had our laundry done for free and our onward travel organised. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped and had a small outdoor kitchen area which was great for making coffee and preparing snacks.
From our balcony, we watched monkeys jumping in the surrounding trees and on the roof!
